Anthony Stopka

Business Owner

As the founder of Platinum Residential Designer homes, my history in the industry goes back to my early childhood.

Coming from a 3^rd generation building family, learning about and working in the industry was a part of daily life.

With a long history in construction, I also spent 10 years working on the corporate end of the industry. Dealing with Architects and designers, precuring and specifying building products and finishes from all around the world.

I enjoy the challenge of producing an end result that not only fits the budget but more importantly exceeds our clients brief and expectation. As builders of designer home’s we are essentially problem solvers and not merely reproducing the same 1 size fits all product.

Having lived on the sunshine coast for over 10 years there is nothing I enjoy more than getting out on to the water and enjoying the amazing and unspoilt environment we live in. It’s is a blessing to work and live in a region such as the Sunshine Coast.

Working alongside my father as a carpentry apprentice in the 1980s has evolved into a lifelong career in the construction industry. From house extensions and renovations to building architectural master pieces. My 35 years’ experience in the industry has been extremely diverse having produced large volume of projects in this time.

After leaving New Zealand in my 20’s and moving to Brisbane I finally settled on the Sunshine Coast 26 years ago and have enjoyed raising my family with the lifestyle and community feel the region has to offer.

I am of a firm belief if the decisions and fine detail can be made prior to any building project start you get the result your desire, more value for money, plus a streamline building process…I strive to achieve this every day for myself and client.

I am looking forward to continuing to produce homes with a high level of design and detail at Platinum Residential as the Sunshine Coast continues to grow into the future.

Anthony and I have proudly been building dream homes for our clients since 2007. From a young age, I’ve been passionate about design and architecture, which continues to inspire the work I do every day.

With almost 20 year’s experience in the building industry, I bring an eye for quality, a sense of style, and a client-focused approach.

While my primary role is administration and ensuring our business runs smoothly, I also take pride in styling our display homes. Guided by my passion for design, I love bringing interiors to life that are both opulent and indulgent. I aim to create spaces that inspire, welcome, and truly elevate everyday living, homes that are timeless, on trend and always reflective of the Queensland climate and the coastal lifestyle that my family and I cherish.

I’ve been in the building industry for over 17 years and I still love it just as much as when I started. There’s something really special about helping people bring their dream homes to life.

I’m a big believer that good home design can truly improve your life, creating spaces that make everyday living easier, more enjoyable and help you connect with family and friends.

My family and I love calling the Sunshine Coast home and the amazing indoor/outdoor lifestyle this beautiful region offers.
