How much time is taken to build my home?
Time required can vary depending on the size and design of the home. Our Standard designs for single storey we build in four months, and six months for double storey.
Which areas does PRD HOMES build in?
Our builders travel to all areas, including Geelong, Pakenham, Craigieburn, and Point Cook. PRD Homes proudly build in Melbourne and all surrounding areas.
Does PRD HOMES offer house and land packages?
Our company works closely with several Land Developers to enable us to offer land in all areas.
Are Investment packages also offered?
We have packages designed to suit the needs and requirements for investors. Our support is a stand out also. We are able to assist with:
Property Management - We can assist you find a property Manager close to your investment, and provide necessary documentation such as plans and inclusions, to allow the Property Manager to advertise the home to the rental market as early as possible. Regular updates are provided to the Property Managers on the construction progress and time frames for completion.
Rental Appraisals - Appraisals can be provided with the contracts, to enable your financier obtain a sense of the rental return value.
Depreciation Schedules – Can be obtained for you to assist with taxation records.
Landlord Insurance - We can assist with one year insurance for your peace of mind.
Can preliminary tests on the land be done prior to release?
It is important to book these soil tests, surveys in advance. They cannot be performed until the land is released, yet work can commence immediately after, if pre-arranged to enable building to begin as soon as possible. The advantage of building with PRD HOMES is that we reward you with all these costs covered for you when you choose to build with our company.
Does PRD HOMES turnkey package include total landscaping?
We have a fantastic reputation as preferred builder due to our turnkey product package leaving nothing to do for the owner after construction is completed. Our items are included as standard for PRD Homes which usually are not.
- Provide front and rear landscaping including concrete driveway, path to front entry and path from laundry to wall mounted clothes line
- Supply fencing to all boundaries
- Supply wall mounted clothes line and letter box
- Down lighting to living areas
- Security system
- Ceramic floor tiles to meals, entry and passage
- Stone bench tops to kitchen (not laminated)
- Stainless steel dishwasher
- Fly screens and window locks
- Evaporative cooling system (not just heating)
- Provide Holland blinds to bedrooms, living areas, sliding doors and all wet areas
- Solar hot water which will save you $$$ in the long term
